Robocobra Quartet (UK)
A Sophisticated marriage of jazz, declamated words, punk and avant-garde,” The Quietus wrote about them, while the Drowned in Sound music portal has described them as “” Fugazi meets Mingus. ”
And they’re right. The Belfast quartet’s songs have no solid forms, and they combine art rock, modern classical music and hardcore savagery to blend something resembling Frank Zappa and Rage Against the Machine. It’s no wonder that by joining joy and playfulness that escalates to intense rage, is bringing them more and more new invitations to respected shows – they have already played at Latitude Festival, SXSW, Haldern Pop, Germany, and Into the Great Wide Open and before they arrive in Prague they will undoubtably have a few more in the roster.
The concert is supported by the British Embassy Prague and Culture Ireland
