The Track Inspection ^(CZ)

Pianist and composer Jan Andr is no newcomer – for the past 15 years he has played with Yvonne Sanchez, the Big Band of Czech Radio, National Theatre Orchestra, Milan Svoboda’s Big Band, Tonya Graves, Libor Šmoldas Organ Trio, Zeuritia, Support Lesbiens and producer Boris Carloff. In his new project, he moved from the keys to the Hammond organ and inspired by the New York club scene, embarked on a more energetic form of jazz linking tradition with funk and soul. The combination of the hammond trio with a three-piece brass section makes The Track Inspection a unique formation in the Czech scene and is composed of members who are each of which a distinctive and respected personality in their own right.
