Mantaban ^(CZ)

The project of folk violinist and two jazz brass players, follows on from the successful Marcipán. They combine the enthusiasm of folk music but at the same time, its members do not leave their own roots. Three seasoned, differently established musicians from the city give the folklore songs of Bohemia and Moravia (and their own songs) a completely distinctive character and thus build bridges between traditional and modern. Last year’s album ‘Neonovy Folk‘ was described by many as an unexpected event in the fusion world music.
