The Atavists ^(CZ)

Full throttle stoner rock, blues roots and sixties surf rock – these are the Atavists. Their distinctive sound is made up of dirty guitars, cracked retro organs and the distinctive vocal performance of frontman Adam Krofian. Over the past five years their achievements have included two albums, victory in the Czech national round of the GBOB international competition. They have played at a number of festivals including Rock for People and Colors of Ostrava and also recently transformed two nominations into wins at the annual Anděl awards in the categories of Discovery of the Year and Best Rock Album.
